Photogs-at-Large
Nina Martin
A southern West Virginia native, small town girl Nina Martin discovered her love for photography during her high school years. She ventured to study Digital Photography at the International Academy of Design and Technology in Tampa, FL, made a quick pit-stop back home in WV for a while, and has now comfortably nestled in Pittsburgh. Somewhere between all the roadtrips she would take to Pittsburgh for shows the past few years, and present time Nina realized she had fallen head over heels about the city and it’s beauty.
Although she adores photographing anything eventful or pleasing to the eyes in the slightest way in Pittsburgh, concert photography is her biggest passion and speciatly. You can find her around town shooting just about any nationally known act that comes through she can or local gigs around town. Capturing that genuine passion, assortment of emotion, and energy each musician puts into a live show is what she lives for. To have the ability to document that exact moment felt is a beautiful thing, she feels… and has every intention on making a living doing just that. Years down the line Nina imagines living on the beach with her toes in the sand, but for now she couldn’t be any more grateful for the opportunities Pittsburgh has brought her, and doesn’t plan on leaving anytime in the near future.
For now, you can follow her along the way on her flickr: http://www.flickr.com/photos/stellarphoto/
Jennifer Stevenson
Jen takes pictures of the places she works, lives and volunteers. She looks for the odd, pretty and most importantly, things that are intrinsically Pittsburgh.
You can find more Jen’s work on her Flickr page: http://www.flickr.com/photos/27567778@N08/.
