Contest Submission: Fishin’ in the Dark
Submitted by Bianchi:
My friend and I went fishing on the North Shore, Memorial Day night. We took Carson St. down to the West End Bridge and saw that the Fallen Officer Benefit Show was taking place. After sitting there for a moment, a women came over and asked us about fishing. She then let us know that the fireworks were about to start. We had no idea. We just randomly went fishing and got a whole fireworks show, it was great.

A view of Downtown from the shore.

Fireworks in the night.

Thanks for the submission. FYI: people are welcome to submit more than one photo for the contest, but only one photo per person will be part of the final online vote. See the contest guidelines for further info: http://onlyinpgh.com/?p=571
