As we all know, Pittsurgh is one-of-a-kind. We’ve been named the most livable city multiple times, we have unique and vibrant neighborhoods…we even have our own dialect that’s found nowhere else on the planet. However, when it comes down to it, what do you think is truly “Only in Pittsburgh?”

Is it the view of the skyline from the Point? Pierogi’s being fried up at Bloomfield Bridge Tavern? Whatever it is, submit your photo along with your name, the specific location where the photo was taken and a description of why the image is “Only in Pittsburgh.”

The prize this time around?  Your photo will be the new header image for OnlyinPgh! You’ll also get some other goodies like an OnlyinPgh t-shirt, an OnlyinPgh keychain and a $10 gift card to Lulu’s Noodles!

Submissions will be accepted between NOW and Tuesday, September 20th at 11:59:59 pm. We will then pick the top 5 finalists and put it up for public vote. Voting will begin at NOON on September 21st and end on Sunday, September 25th @ 11:59:59 pm.  The entry with the most votes will be the winner!

Some things to keep in mind when submitting photos:

• Our header is short and wide (1050 x 235 to be exact), so landscape pictures with the main features close together and on the right hand side will work the best.
• Only ONE entry per person.
• The photographer of the winning photo will be credited in the bottom right corner of the image, but by submitting a photo to the contest, you give OnlyinPgh royalty-free rights to use the photo in all advertisements, promotional materials or any other way it sees fit.
